Sure that is a good chunk of it
but also Disney's monopolies on theaters also makes other films get less showings meaning less blockbusters
but that's just how i see it

Movies aren't bombing because Disney is somehow conspiring to give all non-Disney movies less showings, if this was true then Disney movies would all do amazing just because they had the most screenings by default. They're bombing because most of them cost too much to begin with budget-wise now and people don't want to spend what it costs to see movies in a theater when they can wait a month or two and see them at home with a subscription they already paid for.

To me the main issue are the stupid executives who have no idea what tf they're doing most of the time. Most, if not all, of them are in it for all the wrong reasons. These greedy mofos look at movies only from a business perspective. The only value they see is in how much profit it can make for the studio. They don't see film as an art form. They lack imagination. They're truly soulless cowards. Fuck em!

It's like in this day and age you can never have a cult classic anymore because if the movie fails the studio deletes it or not even consider physical media
