I didn’t get into Glee but a friend used to work in publishing and said he’s one of the few celebs who legit writes his own stuff and everyone loves him so I root for him.

I wish I could remember the ones she said used ghostwriters but claimed they didn’t.

I think that about Lauren Conrad! She likes to give off these “authentic” vibes but she also likes multiple streams of income AND not someone I can see sitting down and writing a ~novel.

i remember that when he was doing promo for his first book, he once mentioned that he actually had a problem getting a book deal because everyone wanted him to write a memoir but he kept refusing because he wanted to write novels, not a memoir in his 20s.

Ugh, that sucks because you know they just wanted some juicy tell all or prey upon any trauma he may have. Plenty of younger people have lived a life worth telling but doesn’t mean they want to write a memoir, especially if they’re still working through things. I feel like I’m projecting lol
