Let me elaborate
China is one of the biggest box office market's in the world, so what the average person on Weibo, one of the biggest social media platforms says means something.
20,000 liked comments that congratulated Smith on stand up for his wife.
If his movie bombs in the US, but is a hit overseas, he gets more roles.

Asia takes family seriously.
This comment is about how white people, especially white woman made the situation worse.
I don't like the term POC, Black people and other minorities problems should not be lumped together.
One thing I saw though, was that POC had a greater sense of community then others, and understood the importance of family ,and that physically violence is not always worse then emotional and psychological violence.
The Kendrick and Drake comment continues that thought process.
Drake came from a place that only looks out for themselves.
Kendrick comes from a place that was forced through white supremacy to create and nurture community for generations.
Drake didn't keep innocent people out of his mouth, and now a month later ,the song that guarantees he will never be fully respected ,ever, is still # 2 in the US and # 4 in the world.
I want to also talk about how this exposed how white people don't really see Black people.
They are seen as either happy or mad. No in between.
Or as I like to say, entertaining or endangering.
I remember a user here being able to understand the situation by putting Ricky Gervais ,Ryan Reynolds and Blake lively in place of Chris, will and Jada.
That was depressing.
The below video shows Willard being treated as a human being that made an out of character mistake, and not a perpetrator. I gained a lot of respect for Cooper that day.
