In a callback to the event that got people to care about the Oscars for 15 minutes and shook White America to the core, Bad Boys Ride or Die (BB4) references it at a point.
I will not say more, but you can read about it for the 3 people on here who like these movies. Showing that he can make fun of himself and put it behind him.
The previous entry, Bad Boys For Life, was the highest grossing movie of 2020, and BB4 is expected to open between 45m - 50m$ domestically, but those estimates have flopped in the recent past.
