I love it when they do this kind of format for the elimination challenge. This episode was really good, though maybe the dancing sausages are swaying me. I'm not looking forward to next week. Maybe I'm in the minority but I hate restaurant wars.

Just gonna take a moment to fangirl over Michelle. She's so talented and beautiful and her smile is just so warm and welcoming. My crush grows each week. When she said she used to play softball....girl, don't play with my hopes like that lol.

I hate restaurant wars too. I know the show acts like it’s this necessary tradition but I would love if they dropped it.

I remember in the early seasons, restaurant wars always resulted in contestants saying they had no desserts in their repertoire which seemed like a dumb yet deliberate choice to come on the show unprepared.

Oh good I'm not the only one. Everyone else seems to love it so much? And it's consistently the worst episode each season to me that I always fast forward through most of it. And nowadays too many people get eliminated for dumb front of house stuff.

OMG yes, eliminations for FOH stuff really annoys me because this show is Top Chef, not Top Front of House. While I understand that sometimes being a chef/having your own restaurant requires more than just designing a menu and executing it, that's really all I want to see from the contestants. Even if the FOH mistakes are the fault of whichever chef got that role for restaurant wars, that's still really not what the competition is about

Yes, could not agree more with everything you said. It also feels even more unnecessary when some chefs already have their own restaurants too. The episode always sticks out like a sore thumb because the rest of the show is generally not about manufactured drama, it's about cooking, which is why I love it. Let the dishes and chefs speak for themselves.

This was for sure a fun episode! I’m a Wisconsinite so it was fun to see the Sausages and Miller Park (I refuse to call it America whatever) and it was nice to see them work so well as a team.

Still not sure how I feel about Ryan Braun being on the tasting panel….

I hate that I still can’t remember names other than my faves because I have comments even though I didn’t taste the food 😂

Michelle and Rasika were my faves so at least I got one of them still in!

I had no idea who Ryan Braun is so I looked him up and yeah...I'm side eyeing a bit.

If they decide to be dumbasses and eliminate Michelle early, I'll probably stop watching. Imo TC has has had a problem with the way they treat their black contestants. So I'm kinda holding my breath just waiting to see what will happen with Michelle. She clearly has the talent and the personality, I just hope it's enough.

I could go on a whole diatribe about him and Aaron Rodgers 😂😂😂😂 they really were a part of my 20s living in Wisconsin. But moving on!

With that, I’ve only been a casual watcher til this season (for obv reasons) and I hate that I’m not surprised.

Amanda is my third fave and I just love her dry speech almost more than her food lol.

Season 11 with Nick and Nina exemplifies it the best. If you're ever bored, you can look it up and you'll still find plenty of discourse about that season. I actually can't talk about it without getting mad still lol! Aww, I like Amanda too and her nerdy D&D playing self.

Ha! Maybe wait to see how this season and Michelle goes? If things go poorly, you can use it to distract yourself. If things go well, it'll just be a quaint reminder of how TC used to be lol.
