FoTR changed my life!!!!
I was not aware of the books and that movie blew my mind. I still remember the shock when it ended because I had no idea it was just the first part.
Also, this is one of the most effective jump scares ever, I almost fell out of my seat, and it's been wonderful to see people react to it when they watch the movie for the first time.

My cousins and I were the same, we were 11-13 and made cloaks and played in the woods pretending we were in middle earth ❤️

Omg so precious. My bf told me he used to play in the ocean and attack oncoming waves with a stick pretending to be aragorn lol

lmao omg me too, except I was 15. Twice with family but the other six times I saw it by myself.

I saw it for the first time with my entire family on Christmas eve, extended and all, while we were all together for the holidays. I was the only one who had read the books so I knew what was going to happen and it was a blast watching my family's reactions in real time. I literally cried the last two hours of the film and my cousin was like "Goddamn, are you all right?" YES, I AM BUT AT THE SAME TIME, NO I'M NOT.
