FoTR changed my life!!!! I was not aware of the books and that movie blew my mind. I still remember the shock when it ended because I had no idea it was just the first part. Also, this is one of the most effective jump scares ever, I almost fell out of my seat, and it's been wonderful to see people react to it when they watch the movie for the first time.
My mom bought me the books a few days later and I became obsessed. TT and ROTK were the only movies I went to wearing a costume. First like a hobbit and later as Eowyn. My friends and I would go to a park near our school and pretend we were in the shire being chased by black riders. Such fun/innocent times.
