lolz In some cases, i prefer a radio edit of a song. Not because i'm a prude, but i would have gotten so used to the radio version (in a lot of cases, the artist may re-record the song entirely to change words, rather than just have the original acapella track mute out the words or replace with a sound effect).
if you think that's scandalous, listen to the sequel song from the same album, "Pull My Hair" It's a spiritual journey that demands you listen to it in full.
Let me tell you, I was shocked - SHOCKED - when I realised that I had only ever heard the radio-friendly version of that song.
Still a bop though.

Did you know the radio edit of 2 Live Crew "Pop That P..." is "Pop That Coochie"
It was a song on top 40 radio. "Pop that coochie" 😭
I was reminded of this from a cassette i had of a 1991 California radio station playing it.

Every time I think it's over, they come back with some awkward lyrics or sound effects that make me stop and question my ears and life decisions.
