It seems like he is handling it...by saying no to people.

actors get paid to act and do promo in very specific circumstances for things they're in. they're not like doctors who take oaths to intervene in medical emergencies no matter where they are even if they're not working

he got approached while he wasn't working and he dealt with it, by saying no. it's a complete sentence lol

I think you got it all backwards. I'm pretty sure Anthony Mackie pursued being an actor and then became a movie star, he didn't sign to be harassed at a gas station. Should be move to some private island to get some privacy?

You keep saying movie star like you're a young countryside girl moving to Los Angeles lmao. It's not a given. Some people react better to fame than others. Do you usually say hi to people at gas station? It might have the 100th person to do that to him that day 🤷‍♀️

i mean you can say it's unfair all you like but the reality is if you're a woman wearing a mini skirt, you're going to have people staring at you and trying to pick you up all day every day, you're going to get photographed by creeps, have people staring at your ass in public, etc. that's just the reality of it. she's not obligated to do anything, i'm just saying if that's something that someone doesn't think they'll like or be able to handle, then maybe they shouldn't pursue looking attractive in public, because it goes with the territory whether they like it or not.

nope, I compared other people's entitlement to disturb someone else's personal space or quiet simply because they conveniently see the circumstances as enablers of that choice.

You seem to think celebrities should expect certain treatment because it's just the reality of the situation and people aren't gonna be able to stop themselves from acting in ways the celebs themselves don't like. And the supposed reason for that is because they see someone in public simply existing and they feel like they MUST take the chance of asking for a photo or whatever.

I think people should learn how to be decent and that no circumstance ever justifies them annoying someone else.

it's about the entitlement.

exactly. humans can twist themselves in all kinds of shapes to justify their entitlement (or even other people's entitlement even when they wouldn't act the same way!), placing the blame on the other person or the context or the cirtumstances.

an actor doesn't owe you a photo just because they became an actor and they should've expected being chased by fans. We've had this conversation countless times when celebs have complained about how invasive paparazzis are.
