Isn’t Scorsese a Polanski supporter? He signed the petition.

Victor Salva (director of the Jeepers Creepers movies) molested the main child star of one of his early movies Clownhouse. And when I say Coppola supported Salva, I don't mean that he signed a petition* - he actually financially bankrolled/supported Salva after his release - I've read that he still supports Salva to this day but I don't think I've seen a source for that so I wouldn't take that as gospel. And he also threatened to sue the victim so that the kid would finish up his (post-production?) work on Clownhouse. He also threatened to blacklist the kid (which appears to have worked, since the kid didn't work in Hollywood again... granted, that could have been the kid's choice because of his horrible experience with Clownhouse, idk if Nathan Forrest Winters left Hollywood of his own accord or not).

* Not to say that the ppl who signed the Polanski petition don't deserve all the criticism too. Just noting that FFC's actions are way more extreme than what you might think.

I didn’t know he supported Salva. I doubt anything will come of that. Many in Hollywood have supported molesters and wouldn’t want to be called out for being a hypocrite. Maybe it will gain some traction on the internet, but even then I doubt it.
