  • NEON distributed quite a few movies in 2023, 2 of which had Oscar attention ("Anatomy of A Fall" and "Robot Dreams")
  • One movie they distributed was Ava Duvernay's "Origin", but it (As well as "Ferarri") failed to break into the awards convo.
  • Now, the Origin Twitter account is speaking out - it is not run by NEON (I mean why would they).
  • They've called out how NEON did not invite Ava DuVernay to the Oscar Party on March 11th
  • In the past week, they have retweeted articles from 2022 referencing how NEON botched distributing the Aretha Franklin biopic "Amazing Grace", and from 2019 (!) about how they bothced distributing the Alfre Woodard movie "Clemency".
  • They've also shared a screenshot of a Showbiz 411 article about how NEON messed up re them + Ferarri.
