Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube was where I started with yoga. She has a lot of 30-day series which I found easier to follow than searching for a new video every day. If you have/get a mat and some space that's all you need! Yoga is a great place to start because you're working with bodyweight and learning how your body feels overall. I like the immediacy of it too - I don't need to travel anywhere and can do it at any time in my own space.
I would say don't dive into everything at once! Try and build one habit into your routine at a time and don't overwhelm yourself with information. From yoga you could then go to pilates classes or start in the gym twice a week or so. I had a bit of spare money and used a personal trainer in the gym for the first month I started going, just to help me get an idea of what a workout there should look like/learn the machines and help me meet personal goals. I was always an outdoor exercise person and the gym felt intimidating to me, and that really really helped. There's also lots of advice on how to use

yoga was VERY boring for me. I've tried it like 4 times and felt like I was gonna jump out of my skin. if you try it and feel like you're not into it I recomend taking a beginner pilates class.
it's kinda shocking how hard it is to find (free lol) true beginners workout programs. it's only thru IG that I'm aware of the kind of modifications you can do before do more advanced exercises
i used the centr app when i first started working out and had a good experience! there's a lot of different types of work outs for all levels (at home yoga, pilates & strength, but also gym workouts for all levels). i think they still offer free trials so you can explore each kind of workout for a while to see what you like the most. i personally found it really cool because you can choose the workout by yourself but there's also programs so it's easier to feel like you're progressing and you don't have to worry about finding what else to do. this was especially helpful for me when i started weight training and had not idea how to plan workouts for my full body.
i feel like sometimes people have this idea that you have to stick to one type of exercise but variety is great!! i love weight training so that's what i do 3 days a week but i do light yoga at home too to be a bit more flexible, and last year i was mainly running. have fun exploring and do what you like! and don't forget to rest too!
I love strength training, but I'd do something else first so you can recognise what your body does/can do and how it feels when things go wrong/too wrong.
I do yoga and strength training and did physical therapy for a while.
Yoga is flexible (huehuehue) and easy to get into and modify easily. It helps to go to at least one class where the instructor can help with positions and modifications. I've been doing it for years and my fave online yoga gal is theunderbelly. It is subscription based so I'd recommend doing one of her free yt sessions and/or do other free yoga yts like yoga with cassandra or yoga with adrienne. Yoga will help build some strength.
Physical therapy is a also a great place to start bc, in my experience, they addressed my issue but also gave me a simple, doable set of exercises. I went in weekly for check-ins so it helped me in being accountable.
I'd start there! Don't be scared of lifting! But definitely ease into it. There's also a ton of subreddits to join too :)
I have the peloton app (not the bike or any of their equipment!) which is $16.99/mo for unlimited strength, pilates, yoga, stretching and outdoor classes (you also get 3 "biking/tread/rowing" classes, it's more for unlimited classes). They have a ton of different trainers so you can find personalities you like and they have classes anywhere from 5 min - 1 hour which I find helps me stay super consistent (you can always find 10 minutes in a day! and on days where I don't really feel like working out, once I do 10 minutes the endorphins start kicking in and I usually stack on some additional classes). They set out difficulty levels for each class and also break down the moves or exercises for you so you know what you are getting yourself into. They always offer a free 2 month trial if you want to try! I probably sound like I'm in a cult but I've been using the app for about 2 years now and it has totally changed my life/exercise regime

Yoga with Kassandra on YouTube is great! She does 10min, 20min, 30min, etc. sessions and has series of 10min yoga practices for a whole month that helped me get back into yoga. She even offers alternative positions at times, too.
Don't know where to start

you eventually need dumbbells, tjmaxx usually has them for a decent price
For Pilates, I just do the old Mari Winsor workouts, a whole playlist of them .
