i think it's because they announced she went to the hospital for surgery but not why and have been murky about it and then something about the apparently long recovery time? so people are running with theories

I've mostly gotten off Twitter but I checked because if this and the only thing I see are tons of posts like "it's crazy how we're all talking about these wild Kate Middleton conspiracy theories!" But I have not seen one single specific

Basically, she hasn't been seen since Christmas. She's fully vanished. For the Princess of Wales, this is pretty bizarre, especially when you consider that after each of her high risk pregnancies she was outside in full face and heels holding the baby within a couple of hours of the birth. She was doing several engagements a week every week right up until Christmas and then she just vanishes.

Also bear in mind Charles has literally been diagnosed with cancer that people are speculating is pancreatic and he's still on full royal ribbon cutting, baby kissing duty.

I'm sticking to the relatively benign conspiracy theory that she threatened divorce and got offered a break to reconsider.
