My husband's friend's wife always posts her 4 year old daughter wearing makeup and dancing and making kissy faces, almost emulating adult influencers. It makes me uncomfortable because it's not private and I know gross people probably look at it.

They also bought her $200+ boots when they went to Vail. I'm a grown ass woman with fully grown feet and haven't had shoes that were over $100.

I saw a video of a girl who couldn't have been over 5 talking about how much she loved frappacinos and they way she talked, acted...it was like a 20-year-old. Girlhood keeps on getting shorter and shorter yet influencers get younger and younger

Also what’s the likelihood of the money being actually used for the kid or their future? When you see shit like this, that’s irresponsible parenting involve CPS

Absolutely disgusting. I could never be a parent because I’d be terrified for my kid constantly but the fact these idiots are willingly exposing their poor kids to literal pedophiles… end it.

Laws are just now being put into place that is regulating what percentage has to be put aside for the children. And of course there will be people who don't follow the law as is especially when it's all new laws

I didn't know they were moving towards that for influencers and YouTube. It's good because they're already there for child actors for formal productions (obviously because kids got exploited) and thought it was crazy nothing existed for social media.

It's happening in California, I haven't heard about anywhere else. It's going to be state by state.

The way the Sacconejoly's have exploited their kids, especially their trans daughter, is so disgusting.

the way jonathan is using the transition for content too, like this child has not had a shred of privacy from the moment they were born

Jesus, this is gross. I cannot imagine the kind of person you have to be to use your kid like this.

Dean Stockton, who runs a small clothing company in Florida called Original Hippie, often features girls from the Instagram accounts, who earn a commission when customers use personalized discount codes. After initially deleting many male followers, he now sees them as a way to grow the account and give it a wider audience because the platform rewards large followings.

“The Bible says, ‘The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous,’” he said. “So sometimes you got to use the things of this world to get you to where you need to be, as long as it’s not harming anybody.”

sorry, I didn't realize it was literally in the article! (taking a late night work break and saving the article for tomorrow's morning coffee.) thank you, that is horrific beyond words.

"as long as it's not harming anybody" famous last words.
