My husband's friend's wife always posts her 4 year old daughter wearing makeup and dancing and making kissy faces, almost emulating adult influencers. It makes me uncomfortable because it's not private and I know gross people probably look at it.

They also bought her $200+ boots when they went to Vail. I'm a grown ass woman with fully grown feet and haven't had shoes that were over $100.

I saw a video of a girl who couldn't have been over 5 talking about how much she loved frappacinos and they way she talked, acted...it was like a 20-year-old. Girlhood keeps on getting shorter and shorter yet influencers get younger and younger

Isn't coffee bad for kids? 🤔

Not all frapps have coffee. They’re just really fancy flavored milks or milkshakes.

I'm pretty sure Starbucks does use espresso in theirs though

Oh I meant the ones without it. I know because my nieces get them and so does my work bestie and she hates coffee. I think the caramel ribbon crunch one doesn’t normally have coffee

Starbux has two kinds of frapps, coffee-based & cream-based (no coffee). You can modify the cream-based to add coffee/caffeine but I doubt it would taste nice.

Makes me SO grateful for my 6yo acting like a puppy all evening and who’s favorite drink is apple juice. The bar is very low these days for good parenting but I think I cleared it

all the little girls whose moms have them doing sephora hauls spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on products their little faces do not even need. there's a family i think the garza family? on tiktok where the mom has her girls doing get ready with me videos with these expensive ass sephora products and they absolutely talk like 20 year old influencers when they're no more than like 7 or 8. it's so sad to watch.

the brooke shields documentary "pretty baby" discusses this cultural sexualization of young girls, it's disturbing. the internet had made it more glaring and shameless.
