One time I was in downtown la for 4th of July and when it was time to leave everyone and their mama was taking the subway lol we were all packed like sardines underground omg I was getting claustrophobic so we stayed behind until everyone left

When I saw Bey in Edinburgh everyone left at the same time and the streets were fullllll of people and idk it was so lovely lmao seeing all these fans just marching down the streets in amazing outfits. And Public transport just full of people. It's unique and can be quite nice. If you don't mind crammed public transport.

the first time i saw florence + the machine live was at the o2 in london, the trains were full but everyone was in such high spirits, and someone from the staff had written florence lyrics on one of the announcement signs. it was actually a very communal experience, and we'd all been squished up together for the previous 2h anyway! (or like, 12h. some of us queued for a long time lmao)

It’s so gross how car centric mostly our entire country is. When my family and I could still travel we always went somewhere with amazing public transport and not gonna lie, we’d geek out the whole time about it. It shouldn’t be novel but here we are😤

I love seeing public transport in diff cities! I live in NYC so my preference is always subways to get around but I like seeing how.. quaint the railways are in mid size cities lol
