People who think that because something has not been documented online it must not be happening or exist need to think harder. Also that WB era was golden.
Remember when people were attacking the Friends cast because they didn't pay tribute to Matthew Perry on IG right after he passed....as if you have to announce you're grieving.
There is soooooo much pressure for celebrities to be performative about showing support to each other in tough times and I'm like... call me old fashioned, but I don't know why it's so hard to understand that people when their friend is going through terrible shit might actually want to talk *to them* rather than *to strangers about them.* Especially if you're famous and the fact that you did it becomes a news story
It was the same thing when Chadwick Boseman passed. Letitia Wright (I think it was her) took a week or so to put out a statement & people were give her so much crap on-line about it.
This. It's a sad state of affairs that people think something isn't happening unless you post about it online. I have never posted a picture of my partner online, yet we've been together for almost 23 years. Some people are just private about their relationships, and some things aren't meant for public consumption.
Some people think I broke up with my Bf when I don’t make a Instagram post about his bday online and I am like … he’s sitting literally next to me. What is the point?
I am not like those people that make a big deal out of Mother’s Day online when your mother isn’t even using social media either 😅
For real, it's so weird! Fandom gets mad at co-stars not making a birthday post like "but I thought you were friends!" and it's like... when they're friends wouldn't they have each other's phone number? Or see each other at some point and, you know, talk in person??? lmao
