Shannen Doherty SLAYS w/Sarah Michelle Gellar on Lets Be Clear + Addresses Alyssa Milano
-Shannen says that she received a comment saying how sad it was that she/Sarah weren't friends anymore since they don't post about one another anymore. Shannen was shocked that people think that Instagram pictures dictate who you're friends with. Sarah agrees and states she is attempting to limit her social media time/comments.
-SMG has been doing a lot of thinking about the past and how the industry pitted women against each other. She was a big fan of Shannens and they became friends once Shannen joined the WB family. SMG took Shannen to one of Charmed's wrap parties even though SMG never went to the Buffy parties. Shannen helped Sarah loosen up and not stay at home inbetween shooting Buffy.
-Shannen opened her home to SMG and fam. during COVID, even helping them during their Zoom school days.
-Kelly Ripa threw SMGs high school graduation party.
-Shannen was a big fan of 'The Crazy Ones' - SMGs comedy with Robin Williams. SMG was aware of his struggles and was very protective of him on set. His passing drove her towards her decision to take a break from acting to focus on raising her children.
-SMG was convinced that there was a secret prize within the Emmy award that lead her to take it apart only to be disappointed and its never been the same again.
-SMG talks about Buffy - how she auditioned for Cordelia and got the part, how she asked to do Buffy and her manager cautioned her against it in fear that she would lose out on the Cordelia role. She auditioned 11 times for the role of Buffy Summers. She dropped taekwondo after her mom told her she could only focus on 2 things (1 being school. She had to choose between taekwondo, ice skating, and acting). Doing Buffy was tough all around being the lead. They were not a super close female cast but have now become 10x closer now compared to their time on Buffy. She's very proud of Alyson on DWTS. They both enjoyed doing as many stunts as possible while on Buffy/Charmed. The wire work was some of Shannens favorite things to do on the show.
-Shannen is envious about how private SMG is and show she keeps her personal life a mystery. SMG admires how outspoken Shannen is and wishes she could be more outspoken about her experiences in hollywood.

-Shannen responded: "I recall the facts as if I were still living in them, and what I will say is that what somebody else may call drama is an actual trauma for me that I have lived with for an extremely long time," she continued. "And it is only through my battle with cancer that I decided to address this trauma and be open and honest about it so that I can actually heal from a livelihood that was taken away from me, a livelihood that was taken away from my family, because someone else wanted to be number one on the call sheet. That is the truth."
-When asked about a potential Charmed reunion - she was quick to shut it down saying it'll never happen. The first time she has been against reuniting with Alyssa since the show ended.
