Yes, killing Marissa was a mistake though I didn't hate Taylor/Ryan. It was refreshingly drama-free. But Marissa/Seth makes no sense for me?

I'm currently rewatching it and while I loved Season 1 I'm starting to get annoyed now during season 2, especially knowing how it'll continue. Though I never realized how many Twilight actors were on it.

This. I love Seth, he was my favorite character and I did like their friendship but romantically? No.

They have like one or two scenes together where it’s just the two of them over the course of the whole show. A genuine friendship between the two would have been a much more interesting storyline!

I think Seth is more fascinated by the concept of Marissa because he views her as his alternate universe life where his mom and Jimmy got together. But over the course of the show we see Seth balk at the idea he may similar to Marissa (that one scene in the early episode where he finds out she likes punk).

Also they literally aren’t each other’s types. Marissa likes a strong silent type and Seth never shuts up. The only way this combo would work is if it was a grief response to like Ryan or Summer being a coma.

Now Ryan and Summer??? That would be an easier sell.

Right? Tbh I always appreciate that they never went there with Marissa/Seth and Ryan/Summer (although they did have chemistry). Its exhausting when shows get all couple-swappy.
