The Windsors face a reckoning as Diana, no longer a member of the royal family, continues to captivate the public in the weeks before her tragic death. The final chapter begins November 16th.
I think it only works because it isn't fiction - you're spending the whole time putting what you're seeing in context of actual events. if that activity doesn't interest you then yeah the show doesn't work
imo the early seasons are much less tedious than the middle ones... so if you're not at least a little hooked upfront then yeah it won't get better for you lol. though once Diana gets introduced S4 it's more compelling!
Yeah, I think you're absolutely right re: the first part of your comment (although I agree with the rest of it too lol). I don't think I realized it before you said it.
i watched the first season but couldn't be bothered after. i just don't care about these entitled fuckers enough. it just made me mad and hate them more.
I've tried about 3x to sit down and watch it and I find it unbearably boring.

After that I’ve struggled more with the show.
It’s intresting watching this now, as someone who vividly remebers her dying.
I am having such a visceral reaction to them having William and Harry in the scenes of her death and funeral. I hate it so, so much.
