A widespread bedbug outbreak has caused an alarming situation in Paris. The French authorities vowed to act as blood-sucking insects infested Paris, which is preparing to host next year's summer Olympics.

As someone who had bed bugs 3 or 4 years ago, this makes me want to cry lol. That sounds dramatic but it is so awful.

I don't think it is. They're so difficult to get rid of and it would be one thing if they were only outside and could be easily avoided but those little fuckers only drink our blood and at home where we're supposed to be safe. I've heard enough stories from people online to know that bed bugs are a nightmare to deal with.

A lot of people think only dirty, unclean people get them, though. When realistically, you can get them anywhere. Hospitals, public transportation, etc.

Honestly good luck. It’s one thing for an apartment building to catch them and get rid of them. A whole city I can’t even imagine tbh. I worked in property management before and oh god the horror of bed bug infestation

had weird "bites" on my chest and collarbone about a month ago. cleaned my apt top to bottom and found nothing. turns out not bugs, just stress :DDDD

Literally me. I have horrible allergies and always stressed so sometimes I break out in random rashes and EVERY time I’m convinced it’s bedbugs or fleas from my dog.
