Tbh I don't even think about bedbugs anymore after having worked for 10 years in travel customer service. We take calls from hotels as well and there was one particular hotel in my city that would just call every once in a while and say 'Hello, please send all our guests to different hotels. It is time again' and they'd have to have the entire hotel cleaned. So common.

Those are the nice calls actually...

Don't feel ashamed of yourself.

I read a bunch of articles some years back because I thought I had bedbug. It turned out my itchy skins were symptoms of allergy reaction.

Anyone can get bed bug if they come into contact with others who have bed bugs on them.

There are lots of articles about people travelling for work, and bringing bed bug with them from their stay at the hotel. That is why it's so hard to exterminate bb entirely. It jumps from people's stuffs to people's stuff.

Much love to you and one day you will stop jumping at the piece of lint on your sheets. I know what you mean about the shame, it's literally not your fault tho and has nothing to do with cleanliness or anything like that. They can be found in luxury hotels and mansions, bedbugs do not discriminate. I have OCD and a huge fear of germs and I've still gotten them three times ( ... )
