For instance, last week the white hosts wore sombreros and joked about being offensive; perhaps even worse, a white male judge could not pronounce "guacamole."

Is this the show where nobody knew about Mexican cuisine because they don't often get fresh avocados in the UK?

I just want to see untalented people bake very complicated things. I want to see people fail. I specifically want to see British people fail because it sounds funnier.

The way that guy who looks like Guy Fieri's evil twin pronounced "taco"

still better than the way the pronounce "churros" (which is both plural and singular) and "paella"

HOW did he pronounce it? Because I saw people on Reddit bitching about it and I can only think it's either TAH-coes or TAW-coes.

Brits be up their own ass about not being racist is so incredibly delusional. its the literal foundation of their modern society.

In the early days of the show back with Mel and Sue they’d have international challenges (I don’t think they had full weeks originally), but they were SO much better. The hosts actually travelled abroad to the countries and spoke with local artisan bakers and it was interesting and informative and not racist AF.

Honestly surprised Channel 4 let it go in this direction as they’re normally leaders in inclusivity compared with other networks in the U.K.

Yea it's important to note how far Bake Off has fallen. It was going to be bad as soon as they hired someone like Matt Lucas and had no one to keep Noel in line.
