Overall, this season didn't really work for me. Some of it I found extremely fun and ambitious in a way, but the pacing never stopped feeling completely off to me. Come to think of it, I don't think the first season was great pacing wise either, but it still worked better than this one. I'm not sure what the issue is - the size of the cast or the balance between the two timelines but it's just not working properly

I also miss the realistic setting experience. You can almost feel that the wilderness this season was sitting between 4 walls. They don’t even travel to the lake anymore..
I think they were so worried about how to introduce cannibalism that it became the sole focus of the season and everything else fell by the wayside - they had to show how starved and crazy the girls were so we could stay sympathetic with them and that overtook any other storyline they could’ve had. Now that the cannibal shoe has dropped I think we can get back to stretching our legs more with the wilderness timeline.
Also hard agree on the winter stuff; I’m so excited for them to get back out into the wilderness for spring/summer!

No she's the one they eat first. Her name was Jackie, hence Snackie.
