She lacks self awareness in that I think she's leaned into how men in Hollywood see her (re Fincher's quote) but doesn't get why she isn't offered different roles? I don't know if she's ever had the moment like Natalie Portman did where she realized grown men fawning over her was fucked up.

I think calling out women for enjoying the benefits of the patriarchy can be tricky, so I'm treading lightly here. But yeah, her whole career has been winking and smirking and playing the game. So I've found her limp attempts at feminism (ie. press conferences where she calls out sexist questions) to be somewhat... calculated as well.

I'm also baffled at the thing of, "I can't believe I was turned down for Black Widow initially" as though Black Widow isn't exactly the same as any other bombshell role.
