Hawkgirl has a female writer.

Titans has a female artist.

But still not nearly as much as the male writers/aritsts.

WW has had plenty of female writers/artists over the past few years. I don't think it's a necessity for every run.

as a huge ww fan, women have a HARD time writing ww. other than gail simone the vast majority of great ww stories are written by men.

I have thought about this a lot, and I think it's because, at her best, Wonder Woman is an extremely idealized almost untouchable figure, and for some reason women writers tend to want to... bring her down??? like, ground her, make her more down to earth and "relatable" and it just doesnt work wirh her character.

of course, there are some men that go the OPPOSITE end of the spectrum and sexualize her to hell and back and that's not great either.
