While it was indeed a great night for 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', 'All Quiet on the Western Front', and even 'The Whale', a lot of Oscars best picture nominees were shut out completely.
Including: “Elvis,” “The Fabelmans,” “Banshees of Inisherin” and “Tar” which went home empty-handed despite 30 nominations between them. Since 3/4 of the acting categories were up in the air until tonight, there was hope that Banshees, Elvis, and even Cate Blanchett could've gotten gold for their films.
Should make a post about random-ass awful movies that have won Oscars (and there are SO many) as a juxtapose to this. The awards season is done, take a break folks!
