S4 for me. I hated the Breyton fights and all the hair. The hair was so bad that season.

I watched the third season of Penny Dreadful but oof, it was so rough. There were some interesting elements -- like the introduction of Dr Jekyll (and his homoerotic tension with Frankenstein), and Lily adopting Justine and the coven of vengeful streetwalkers they formed -- but then the show ruined them. And don't get me started on what they did to Vanessa and Ethan...

The Dracula reveal after two seasons of build-up was also a major disappointment. I mean, him?

I was done with Penny Dreadful the second I realized they were gonna have Ethan kill Sembene. What a fucking waste of a character. And they'd already been wasting his screentime as it was.

First comment implying Alias was not a good show? It was. And truth be told, when it got worse it wasn’t cause of clones.

I get people saying that a about Carl on TWD cause of the comics. But on the show he was a useless character and the actor wasn’t good.
The show jumped the shark after Glenn’s death and getting all that attention to Negan/his redemption.

I also quit The Walking Dead when Carl died. I didn't like Carl either, but I was like really? Totally jumped the shark moment.

I quit Game of Thrones when they had that guy that would sleep with his daughters and sacrifice the babies in the forest. I think that's how Sam met that girl. Worst part was when they (not sure who) ransack the house and killed and raped all the daughters. It was disgusting and at that point I knew what people meant when they said the writers got sick pleasure out of sexual pain for women.

THAT'S THE EXACT POINT WHERE I GAVE UP ON GOT TOO!!

Like, I can tell you the exact moment. There's a full frontal shot of a woman getting raped in that shack and I was like alright, that's enough for me. You can't tell me there was any single narrative purpose to that shot being in there. It was solely for the degradation of women and I was like NOPE.

I quit the GOT after S4 for the same reason as stated in the post. They were really killing all the good ones and it just became a torture porn by then. I'm glad I stopped watching when I did, because seeing people's reactions to the final season 👀

For me Grey's jumped the shark very early on. I think it was season 3 where Meredith "drowned" and went to purgatory (?) or whatever it was. I was like really? Then we got George & Izzie 😫 which I loathe to this day lol

im pretty sure dead denny is in that episode too lmao. but i guess fans loved denny popping back up so much they made izzie fuck his ghost. im sure i was exasperated at that episode too, the ghost sex is just what tipped me over to actually drop a show cuz generally im a completionist.

Meredith was dead for so fucking long in that episode that it was unbelievable to me that she even came back to life.
