OMG! No wonder the other day I had a 90s playlist on and the original version came on and I kept wondering if I’d remembered the entire song incorrectly but it’s good to know, I didn’t make up those beginning “uh-uh-oh-oh’s”!
Oh wow. I never heard the second version before but I am from Canada. Maybe her team did some market research to see what would be more appealing in different countries.
I feel like I’ve heard both versions (Canadian) but that may be bc I’ve watched some documentaries on her. Or my brain didn’t clock they were different from one another.
