I was wondering what was going on with it.

I'm somewhat surprised he got away with somewhat scot-free.

I feel like whatever financial settlement they got....it's not as much as it should be.

People have already forgotten about this tbh. He is back to performing and his music is still very popular. People are like "Oh yeah that was really bad...next topic!"

I'm glad the families are getting something, I wish they were getting the end of his career along with it, but you know if they settled it was because the pain and suffering of continued legal action that I'm sure him and the Kardashians bankrolled was not worth enduring anymore. I wish there would've been at least some sort of attempt to be marginally human from them after the situation but their whole "hearts and prayers" response was unfortunately expected.

down in the thread it says that the lawyers say that it's not true that they've settled--did anyone actually read the article? I can't see it because of the paywall

From the article, it says the family's lawyers (Buzbee Law Firm) announced the settlement on Instagram and the terms are confidential. I found the Instagram, and he did make a post, but he only mentions Axel Acosta. It doesn't say who confirmed that Brianna Rodriguez's family settled, just that it was settled in court and the settlement is confidential.
