I saw bodies bodies bodies last week! Fun watch, if a bit empty headed. That critic really was up her own ass saying the film was obsessed with boobs or whatever

Aaand I watched barbarian last night. Also super fun. Wasn’t quite as surprised by the story’s twist and turns (it’s no malignant but tbh what is lol) but omg those character, narrative shifts were rad! So glad I went out to see this one in the theatre

I’m feeling v conflicted by blonde. I think I’ll still go support it in theatres because it’s a drama for adults and I’ll try and watch it in a local, small theatre as well. But oof it does sound like it hates women/Marilyn. Idk I want to watch myself to decide but it seems so male oriented

This weekend is fucking stacked with stuff I want to see, which is wild after such a long drought.

Tonight, we're going to see Pearl, and tomorrow is Moonage Daydream. Then we've got to get in The Woman King and See How They Run sometime over the weekend/into next week, and that's all my A-List slots used up. I may wait for streaming for God's Country and Blonde, we'll see.

Already got my tickets for Don't Worry Darling next weekend. It's selling well in LA, I wouldn't be surprised if it exceeds estimates.

saw both godfather movies in the theater this week. excellent choices. land of dreams is finally being released Friday. taking my bestie to see scream 2 in october; going to see trick r treat, the outsiders again as well. might see poltergeist?

also rewatched the exorcist and the first conjuring yesterday.

I don't understand why Goodnight Mommy needed a remake. I recently watched the original and it was so good & freaky.
