the worst part, i think, was tony kahn just SITTING THERE and letting punk go off. like dude, you are the boss, step up and act like it

Right! It's like he wants the drama and attention, which is probably the case. End of the day he is just a booker, gets to live his childhood dream and can't deal with the conflict and will just complain.

yes!! i saw some comments that he's too much of a fan boy to be a good boss, which is not a good thing. you can't really be friends with your employees.

edited to add: and then getting into a fight where someone gets HIT IN THE EYE WITH A CHAIR is not a good look for anyone

He does strike me as a fan boy not a business guy or anything who can put the company first and be neutral. Idk. Maybe he has someone working with him that can turn it around or step in while he can fan boy

hopefully he does have people who can say "no that's dumb" and not just yes people.

Tony is simply a younger, more aware Vince when it comes to not understanding talent draw versus amateur YouTube shit.

We stopped watching AEW for the most part when the women were sent to the YouTube channel. Much prefer indies like Enjoy or EVE. They provide better arcs and stories.

and he keeps talking about how the women's division is awesome. then why isn't it on the main tv channel getting 20 mins?

Right? And people like Willow Nightingale are draws from the indies. Good for giving the signed talent some kind of different moves.
