He is perfect because he is so unconditionally loving and accepting, even when he doesn't understand something.

Hank isn't so bad, either. Even if he doesn't understand everything.

His catchphrase is "that boy ain't right" so I would compare him to Bob.

There are so many little throwaway lines from Bob that just beautifully show his personality - for a cartoon character he’s so well fleshed out (so to speak). I also love that little laugh he does when one of the others says something weird.

I watched this the other day. I love Bob! Since this was made recently they should have added the dad from The Great North. I also love Gomez Addams for fictional dads.

I'm just imagining those two families meeting. Bob would be freaked out by Gomez and Morticia, but learn to go with the flow. Linda and Morticia would have wine nights and Linda would be a little too into Morticia's witchy things. Tina would develop a crush on Thing for some reason, Gene would be into being Lurch's friend, and Louise would just be jealous that Wednesday and Pugsley get to seemingly do whatever they want and use weapons lol.

still crying over the scene in the movie where the Belchers [Spoiler (click to open)] fall into the sinkhole and Bob tells Louise about how her ears remind him of a hat his mom wore. and then in the same scene where he gets upset that Linda gives up and decides to be optimistic for her and the kids and solves the problem. Bob is the best!

My son is 9 and we have been watching "Bobs" as he calls it every night. About a week ago he comes in (out of nowhere) and goes "Mom what does Swingers mean? I saw it on Bobs and Dad won't tell me.." So I just said "it's people who like to swing!" "Well why were the Grandparents swinging together?" "Well, it's people who like to swing together! With friends!" and he tore out of my room yelling 'I KNOW WHAT SWINGERS MEANS NOW'.

Thanks Bobs.

I love this wholesome ass show.
