Part 2 is so much better than part 1, I promise! I only finished the book recently and it did take me forever to get through past the ending of the first part of the film - but it really pays off.

I'm also obsessed with the film, it was so refreshing to watch a well-made, serious sci-fi movie amidst all the Marvel stuff. And the music is gorgeous I agree

Truly. I don't get all the hype for this movie. Timmy twitching like he always does, Zendaya doing a perfume commercial, Momoa trying his best not to let his inner Aquaman out, Skarsgard wanting to convince us he's not wearing a fat suit, wife beater Brolin just being there. Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson actually putting some effort to sell whatever the materiał was. But great audio, beautiful audio.
