What did the trans community ever do to society and white male comedians precisely.

All this does is clear up for me who desires the status quo more than people's rights. Gervais and Bill Maher aren't the contrarians they think they are when they need to punch down like this.

It's one big clown act.

They used to be an easy punchline in the 90s and these guys don't like that they're being called out now.

They asked people not to pick on them anymore. Which we know saying “no” to comedians is a big no-no to them and their “freedom of speech”.

"If she doesn't meet my standards of femininity/hotness/fuckability, then she's not a woman!!1" is a big part of it, it seems. Gervais seems to be in the specific Graham Linehan category, and he's particularly obsessed with trans women who don't 'pass' to his satisfaction.

Toxic people make you feel like you're holding a grudge when you're really holding a boundary.

Sadly it's not only white men. Dave Chappelle has made of transphobia his personality, and Michael Che keeps it classy with casual transphobia in SNL punchlines.

Cis male comedians are running out of jokes, it seems.

It’s like they can’t stand the fact that there are people out there who don’t want to be in their bodies. The ultimate slap the face (In their putrid opinion).
