• The Bob's Burgers Movie is of course, based on the long-running Fox animated series. The film has opened to great reviews so far, sitting at a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes with 21 reviews so far.

• IndieWire gives the film a B, saying that while there are some pacing problems the film has all of the joy, fun and music of the series.

• The movie hits theaters this Friday, May 27.

• The reviewer over at The Playlist says that not every character arc works, but the one that does is Louise's. The movie finds Louise, "caught between two phases of youth: the carefree childhood years and the burgeoning self-awareness of pre-teendom," and says her story is a wonderful coming of age story.
