I understand how writers wanted to keep some plot lines around because it's continuous buildup for another season but the more I think of it, the more I'm disappointed by how the main couple has been sidelined. As one user said: we saw them fall in lust, but we deserve the softening up and loving.

I also am so addled that I for a moment thought that my fic-ideas were canon I watched in season three 😐

I needed like one additional episode shoehorned in where they get to enjoy being a new couple.

I would have accepted a montage of their honeymoon.

i lose interest basically as soon as the couple gets together (sometimes i will quit reading if they get married too quickly and kids start showing up and i'm only half way through lmao), and even i thought it ended pretty abruptly.

Ooh I'm the same, I always lose interest once they get married! And with Quinn's books there's always some contrived plot on why they're not 100% happily ever after that I cannot be bothered to care about

Unpopular opinion: I prefer seeing people being in relationships over them getting together, so I feel like we got cheated out of them being married and couple-y. Especially compared to Daphne and Simon in season 1. Granted, Simon’s issues came more into play once they were married, but still!

Jonathan and Simone have such great chemistry, and I love the 3 minutes of them being a couple, that I hope we get more of them in later seasons.

It was very unbalanced.

I totally agree, they went from hate to lust-hate to happily married without nothing in between, something was definitely missing - they are lucky that the actors had such chemistry to make it believable anyway, but it was a missed chance

They just needed them to have one conversation that showed the emotional side. It was mostly to me just showing lust, and they had already shown that with siena and him last season. It came off that he just wanted to sleep with her, and couldnt because she was a lady/the sister stuff.

If not for the acting performances it could have really landed worse. They were kind of able to elevate it through looks and touch.

Body language saved them.

I agree. It seemed like they were going to have a conversation during the storm while hiding in the library scene and it went nowhere. We didn’t learn much about Kate’s trauma from losing BOTH parents or why she hated storms. There were missed opportunities to have them bond a bit more. The featherington stuff could’ve been better edited so it didn’t take so much time
