Buffy resonated with me so much- it was the first time I really found girls on American tv relatable.

Recently I thought about that and how Joss is a monster, and I think it is not unrelated. He was an effective monster because he could get into our heads.

Would love to have a non Joss Slayers tv series.

Even though I watched Buffy for the first time a few years after it went off the air, when i was in college (back when Netflix sent me physical discs!) it still was very formative to me and many episodes still resonate.

Like. When I want to get in my feels, I still listen to “Full of Grace”.

i hate whedon but i cant give up buffy, i rewatch the whole thing at least once a year. first season is rough, but man. that show had some real quality moments (anya's breakdown in the body???)

Oh it gets better again after season 1? I LOVED that show so much back in the day and I tried rewatching last year but couldn't handle it.
