Mary J. Blige postponed her meet-and-greet just two hours before it was scheduled to start.
She made the announcement on her Instagram Story while fans were already waiting in line outside.
She did not provide a reason for the last-minute change.
Source tells that she got stuck in traffic in Times Square while en route to the sold-out photo op.
Many attendees felt there was no excuse for Blige being a no-show.
Fans had to purchase a copy of Blige’s new album, in order to receive a wristband for the event.
Refunds were made available for those who did not want to hold onto their wristbands for the rescheduled date, which has yet to be determined.
