And I agree, True Crime has reached critical mass and I'm getting kind of tired of it. This case especially doesn't need to be revisited imo

True crime podcasts/series are just the RL versions of Criminal Minds and SVU except real people had to be hurt so someone else could monetise it. It actually makes me less critical of the aforementioned shows because even though the torture porn in them is terrible, at least it isn't a real person.

I used to listen to MFM, but yeah, as I got older I sort of veered away from that sort of true crime schtick. I remember once listening to the episode where they covered Irena Sendler (a Polish woman who saved Jewish children during WWII) and my husband walked in and listened for a moment and then was like "So...their favorite murder today is...the Holocaust?" And I was like...yeah...you have a point
