It is a thoroughly investigated deep-dive into the cult the Duggars belong to, the Institute of Basic Life Principals. They cover Anna's 'courting' by Josh at length and how it was almost entirely not her choice at all to be married to him (and on a larger scale, how women do not have any choices in this cult at all, for any reason).

i actually really enjoy LPOTL but i still can't believe natalie is married to henry. the more i think about it the stranger it becomes but is also somehow makes sense
