A Deep Dive into Anna Duggar
This youtuber BE THEE COMMENTATOR has so far made a series of three videos about J*sh and Anna Duggar, his crimes, his arrest, and her life with him. The videos are very well-done, I can tell she did her research, and I recommend you guys take the time and watch these videos, don't just read my basic rundown.
A hard trigger warning for CSA, religion abuse, and violence, although several words are edited out of the videos.
This video gives a breakdown of the Duggar family, their IBLP beliefs, J*sh's crimes and his parents' reactions to them. It also introduces Anna Duggar and her courtship with him. Includes some clips from the Megyn Kelly interview after the first scandal went public, the Ashley Madison scandal, and the most recent scandal and his conviction.
The second video goes into more detail about Anna, her family, her upbringing, and her courtship and early marriage to J*sh.
-Apparently Anna's parents did prison ministry work, and the Duggars (knowing that her family was big on the ideas of forgiveness and mercy) wanted Anna for their oldest son. -Also talks about IBLP expectations of a wife, including being "a wife that's loyal and supportive", "honors his leadership", and "be praised by others".
-Ends with their move to DC with him getting into politics.
This final video closes up about Anna and J*sh. Continues with their time in DC and its' abrupt end. Goes into a little more detail regarding when that scandal was leaked to the public.
-Shows more of the Megyn Kelly interview, and some of the inconsistent details.
-The parents had reported to state trooper Joseph Hutchens (who is since then also a convicted p*do in his own right and serving a 56 year sentence), who claimed he was not aware of the extent of J*sh's crimes.
-Anna, of course, stood by him through this.
-Bill Gothard, founder of IBLP defending J*sh's actions.
-Then came the Ashley Madison scandal, he blamed this on pornography addiction. The woman he cheated with, adult film star Danica Dillon claimed he was physically violent towards her, she attempted to sue him but the suit was dropped. A couple other women came forward about being abused by J*sh.
-Some details about Anna's siblings who have left the cult. Her younger sister Susannah had a child out of wedlock, married a guy who isn't fundie, and she sends her kid(s) to public school. Two other siblings have also left the cult.
-J*sh goes to some Christian rehab thing. Some more nonsense about "everything can be fixed through Jesus' love" basically.
-Car lot scandal regarding stolen cars and guns and licensing problems. The car lot is shut down, we find out later it was cause of cp.
-Anna pregnant with M7, J*sh arrested for cp, she once again stands by him, some stuff from his trial, he's convicted.
I recommend watching/listening to the videos, not just reading my rundowns, these are well-done and I can tell this Youtuber did their research.
