Maybe I'm remembering wrong but Joshua didn't have that skeevy energy, if anything he was much more closed off, no? Anyway, I really enjoyed this book, unlike most rom-coms it actually seemed like it was written by an adult and not a teenager trying to self-insert.

I'll probably watch this bc I'm so starved for rom-coms but I kinda hate this casting.

He's giving me Dane Cook energy during that awful time they let him act.

he really is meant to be more closed off, not like a weird wall street bro or whatever is going on here. I actually love this book and have read it wayyYyY too many times so I don't think I'll watch this bc this casting will probably ruin the book for me

This looks like something I would Netflix on a Friday after a long week, getting my run in and taking a nice bath.

I can't believe this terrible book is being made into a movie. The main characters are so fucking insufferable and they clearly want to bang the whole time so there's no real stakes.

I want rom coms back but not like this.

I thought I was the only person who hated this book, I was so disappointed reading it after all the hype

Yeah it is definitely a minority opinion. Everyone else adores it and I do not get why.

I didn't like it either. The relationship wasn't anything I'd want and the characters were meh. I like a romcom as much as the next person but I thought the relationship between the main characters was mainly toxic. I'm tired of toxic relationships being fed to women as desirable. No thanks.
