I have so many fucking opinions about Chibnall's run and how he gave Jodie DUST to work with. I just went on a rant to some friends about how I can tell you NOTHING about Thirteen as a character and that's all on Chibnall. Capaldi's run wasn't particularly well written either, but I could tell you who Twelve was at the end of the day. I don't know what motivates Thirteen or what's important to her. I don't know who she is.

He had some good concepts; I like that he brought the historicals back and I hope that sticks around, but his execution was shit. His run was dull, lifeless and boring and all his characters were flat. I wish I could have seen Thirteen get a season under a different showrunner. I hope she'll get some killer Big Finish stories in the future because it's what she deserves.

And Jo Martin should get her dues as a proper Doctor next. She was great.

Agreed. And Jodie was SO GREAT. She really was. I just... sigh. I was disappointed.

Exactly. I don't blame Jodie for any of my dislike of this run. She's a great actress who got nothing to work with. Three companions from the jump was also just too many and definitely didn't help matters.

Ooh. What happened to Jo Martin? She’s the first Black woman and is Doctor Who

She's a current main on Holby City, but it's ending permanently next year so give it to me, Auntie Beeb

They need a decent arc. As cheesy as Russell T Davies was he had planned it out so it was linked. Since then it's been a "wtf is happening" after another. No vision. No plot. No motivation.

I love her, so I'm sad we're losing her. Inevitable as she wouldn't stay forever, but she's up there with Capaldi as my favourite.

Another woman has to be the next Doctor, or you'll have the neckbeards all rejoicing about how she was a 'stunt' casting. She was easily a better Doctor than some we've had (Smith without a single doubt) and deserved the role, so now I hope an equally as deserving woman is cast.

The ONLY dude I would be happy with would be Robert Carlyle, but only because I want him in literally everything I watch.

They should have her regenerate into Ruth Doctor. Holby City is ending in 2022 (I'm still crying about it) and they're both on BBC1...
