They use that symbol to represent Buddhist temples on tourist maps in Japan. Not be a good idea to use it outside the Asian market tho...

Having Googled it, there are MANY different interpretations of this symbol, they could have chosen one that didn't look like a Nazi symbol.

All that imagery is being used by post Soviet neo nazis on the daily basis, especially Kolovrat

Were there no other symbols to use? I understand it’s an auspicious symbol in many religious practices but to market this on a platform used widely by westerners is a terrible idea. Like it’s terrible that the symbolism is tainted by nazism but i feel like even in Russia, it would be picked up negatively by others.

How is she using "a Slavic symbol" as an excuse when it's depicted on a Native American man's headdress? The culture that very notably chose to no longer use the symbol due to its use in Germany?

Throw the whole filter and designer out.
