lol it's melissa's own fault for insisting on propping up her mediocre husband instead of choosing quality projects

And that's the story of so, so many women's lives, it's depressing as fuck.

how does she prop him up? By those apperances in her moviees? If so, how would that mess up her career. Has she turned down roles because they couldnt find a part for him?

I mean, when the average person thinks of Melissa McCarthy, do they think "Wow she's an amazing actress" or do they think "God, she is in so many shitty movies"? P sure it's the latter

Toni Collette should be 3 or 4 oscars in by now. One of the greatest actors of her generation!! One of the best Aussie actors of all time!!! I’ll go all in relentlessly for TC for the rest of my life!!!

I was so disappointed we got so little time with the family in Knives Out. I wanted more of her GOOP impression

Antonio Banderas is great ahhh. He was amazing in Pain and Glory and should have won the Oscar last year tbh.

Anyway my personal additions here are Eva Green (STOP WORKING WITH TIM BURTON) and (king) Tobias Menzies.

I recently watched him in the skin I live in. That movie is so fucked up and bizarre but I really liked it. The twist was beyond bonkers.

Life-changingly fucked up! Such a trip. I can’t think of an even remotely similar movie.

I think Sarah Michelle Gellar is underrated for the range and depth she gave to Buffy--horror, comedy, action, drama, romance...she did everything! Sure, it had ensemble elements but she really carried that show. I think her coming from a soap opera kind of made it difficult for people to give her the awards recognition she deserved in the 90s. There are certain scenes I watch back now that still give me chills or make me tear up.

She seems happy with her life, but it'll always make me sad that she couldn't make the transition into regularly working post-Buffy.
