Did The Jonas Brothers x Marshmello Plagiarize Daft Punk and Wham! With “Leave Before You Love Me” ?

Nice try Jonas Brothers but George Michael and Daft Punk did it first pic.twitter.com/TXk2GyVLqK

The Jonas Brothers have a new song out with EDM DJ / Producer Marshmello. I submitted a post (now deleted) highlighting the song, but 8 comments in and it’s clear that there is some plagiarizing and fuckery going on. That’s right Marshmello, you helmet wearing hack, that song you “produced” with no sample or writing credits to the original French helmet wearing duo - Daft Punk - could lead to a costly copyright lawsuit. Just ask Ed Sheeran ( thr ice), Pharrell and Robin Thicke among others.

[Cut]
The new mediocre Marshmello and Jonas Brothers song has the main melody ripped right off Instant Crush by Daft Punk ft. Julian Casablancas

Sounds awfully similar to @DaftPunk_Music - Instant Crush 🤔

@marshmellomusic How many times did you listen to Daft Punk's Instant Crush before you produced that song with @jonasbrothers

The new Jonas Brothers/Marshmello song sounds EXACTLY like Last Christmas by Wham! and it’s not even subtle. Holy hell. pic.twitter.com/VfmyCMlLST

It’s actually way more Lost In Love by Air Supply than Wham!
