- and yeah, if you watched this and felt uncomfortable because it wouldn't allow you to fetishize a Black celebrity on a superficial level and had to see the actual humanity of Black people and the outright discrimination they face (besides police brutality), then work on that
- hearing John Oliver say "bump them ends" brought me back to the traumatic years of when OP wanted her straightened hair to give Aaliyah vibes, but my mother insisted on "bumping them ends" and I looked like fucking Barry White
- yes, hearing a white man with that accent talk about Black hair is but remember, who that target audience is
