I was literally just talking about this earlier today in the context of BTS.

Personally, I just cannot get into RPF/RPS. It feels weirdly invasive to me? Like idk. I prefer to not speculate on the romantic or sex lives of public figures. Let them keep whatever privacy they want to keep.

I don't begrudge people shipping if they know it's not real and they're just having fun. But when the line is crossed into delusion... nope.

I’m back in the Friends fandom and had hoped the Courtenay Cox/Matthew Perry shippers had gone and sadly no. They’re still there.

And since I’m on Friends TikTok I often get that RPF ship showing up. With the same exact four pictures of them. (Apparently looking attentivly at a person you’re having lunch with means you’ve been in love with them for decades?)

Then there’s the ‘they used their kissing scenes in Friends to show their real feelings for each other’ they’re fucking ACTORS

I love the fuck out of Mondler as it’s such a healthy relationship and that’s so rare to be shown on screen (along with Ben/Leslie so apparently my thing is secret relationships) but the RPF shippers can’t be escaped.

back when I was into BTS I was Jimin biased, I remember the crazy Jikook shippers, when I left the fandom they were reaching peak delusion (actually believing they are secretely married) I can only imagine how delusional they are now

I'm guessing you must be a new kpop stan because yunjae already passed Larry levels of delsution all the way back in the 2000s.

People still ship them and they haven't interacted together in 10 years LOL

i am lmaoo, i didn't know that !! i mean, i had a friend who shipped them but at the time she was a teen (so was i) and i shipped Sasuke/Naruto hard and she shipped yunjae so we were just being fangirls together and i never thought much about it lol

people still ship them?? well damn, i hope the same doesn't happen with Larry

lol there's that huge ass threat on onehallyu (idk if it's still there) that's like "who do you think is gay in kpop" and it's often just pages and pages of people talking about their ships, especially bts ships.
