I heard the point made on Kevin Smith's podcast, that the Disney statement on Carano basically showed that she had been shit-canned even before her b.s. Holocaust tweet.
Go back and read it, it's pretty clear that she was out of the picture because of her November tweets and it seems like Disney was trying to do it quietly and not start a fuss. But then she kicked off trying to make it seem like she was a victim and Disney just corrected the record but that seems to have been missed because the idiot tiki-torch types and the media wanted the story to be that she got fired for her holocaust statement.
